| My
artistic life has been a voyage of discovery for me; discovery of my life,
my evolving role here, and the universe that I am intimately connected
with. It has been the journal of my growth and search for communion with
the cosmic consciousness. It is what gives me joy for now, until I manage
to stumble across the right path for me to the ultimate bliss. I hope
to always grow in my art and in understanding, with each new artistic
era of my life upturning and untangling false perceptions of the past,
as new information is absorbed. It's all journey with no destination.
I am allowed to have opinions and be wrong; I expect that the majority
of mine are. Right or wrong, my hope is that it will affect someone to
either agree or disagree with me, and in that action, they will discover
themself.
I am drawn mostly to religious/ mythological/ scientific subjects, because
I feel in my bones, it is the misunderstandings we have of their true
meaning, that is the root source of the gaping wounds in our society.
To me, all are one. . . all are attempts at describing the indescribable
force that drives all life. . . in whatever extremely limited language
and metaphors each relative culture has available to them. Through mixing
in what I have found in the rich mythological language of each culture
I am drawn to, and creating my own mythology that is relevant to my personal
world, my hope is to inspire others to break down the barriers of the
insignificant details and inadequate language of man, and encourage them
to flay their own religion open to the heart . . . to find the true source
and meaning behind the literal words and mythic symbols. . . That Which
Cannot Be Described. There is no right or wrong way to the Source, what
is important is that we each find our own way to it, and to the higher
states of cosmic conciousness we are all capable of. My goal, however
unrealistic it seems at times, is to help others see that we are all beautiful
parts of the same infinite, indefinable whole, and as such, should be
appreciated for our varied, and beautiful differences.
